Arthur takes CEO, President, COO, and VP Operations seats for private equity and industrial companies that need cost, service, supply chain, or a turnaround moved quickly.
He has run complete P&L and multi-site operations in batteries and electronics, consumer products, packaging, and media operations. That includes President and CEO of Palladium Energy, a global electronics/battery manufacturer with about US$300 million in revenue; EVP of Worldwide Film Operations at Technicolor across North America, Europe, and Asia; and EVP of Operations at Trojan Battery, a US$200 million specialty battery company with three sites.
Earlier, he led operations for Avery Dennison’s consumer office products and consumer goods businesses, turned around a 400-person Huhtamaki paper converting plant, and ran manufacturing and engineering at Frito-Lay’s largest snack plant (1,200 employees). Through Salyer Advisors he has taken long interim assignments in retail, entertainment media distribution, consumer electronics/lithium battery supply chain (U.S., Taiwan, China, Brazil), and prepaid wireless distribution.
Arthur’s work centers on manufacturing cost reduction, global operations, ERP-enabled supply chain, lean and Six Sigma, and internet-commerce operations. He is based in Temecula, California, and takes interim, fractional, and advisory COO and CEO assignments.

- Management consulting and contracted interim leadership firm focused on the private equity portfolio company business. Recent long term assignments include:
- Executive coaching and strategy: Retail
- Entertainment Media distribution expansion and improvements: USA
- Consumer electronics/Lithium Batteries supply chain improvement and new market expansion: USA, Taiwan, China, Brazil.
- Pre-Paid cell phone distribution re-engineering and expansion: North America.
- Ran full P&L as President and CEO of Palladium Energy, a ~US$300 million global electronics/battery manufacturer, then stayed as strategic advisor to the Board and CEO on operations and acquisitions.
- As COO of SDI Media, operated a global localization network across 33 countries, 35 markets, and more than 100 recording rooms.
- Built and ran worldwide operations for Technicolor’s film business: pre/post production, print, and distribution across eight units in North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Led all operations for Trojan Battery, a US$200 million specialty battery manufacturer — three sites covering manufacturing, distribution, engineering, quality, new product development, and customer service.
- Designed manufacturing, distribution, and global sourcing strategy for Avery Dennison consumer office products and consumer goods, about US$900 million of a US$3.3 billion company.
- Turned around a unionized Huhtamaki paper converting plant and distribution center: 400 people, US$100 million in sales.
- Ran manufacturing and engineering at Frito-Lay’s largest snack plant — about 1,200 employees and 175 million pounds of annual output.
